Material pretreatment: Before printing, RPET non-woven fabric needs to be subjected to corona treatment, with the core purpose of increasing the surface tension of the material, ensuring that the ink can firmly adhere to the surface of the non-woven fabric, and avoiding problems such as ink drop and delamination; After the corona treatment is completed, printing operations should be carried out as soon as possible to prevent the surface tension from dropping over time and losing the treatment effect. At the same time, it is necessary to check the moisture content of non-woven fabric in advance. If the material absorbs moisture, it may cause defects such as bubbles and pinholes in the ink during printing. The moisture content should be controlled within an appropriate range through drying before printing.
Ink and consumables selection: Priority should be given to environmentally friendly inks such as water-based or UV, which not only comply with the environmental properties of RPET non-woven fabrics, but also meet the compliance requirements in different scenarios, such as food contact, export trade and other related certification standards. The ink needs to be fully compatible with RPET material, and before printing, it needs to pass tests such as adhesion and friction resistance to ensure that the printed pattern is not easily peeled off; If applied to outdoor scenes, anti UV additives need to be added to the ink to prevent the pattern from fading and aging due to sun exposure.
Printing tension adjustment: RPET non-woven fabric itself has certain stretching characteristics. During the printing process, it is necessary to accurately control the tension in the unwinding and rewinding stages, maintain uniform and stable tension, and avoid deformation and wrinkling of the non-woven fabric caused by excessive tension, or inaccurate overprinting and pattern deviation caused by insufficient tension. For lightweight thin non-woven fabrics, auxiliary devices such as anti stretch rollers can be installed to further ensure material flatness.
Screen adaptation management: Select the corresponding specifications of screen according to the texture thickness of RPET non-woven fabric. Fine textured non-woven fabric is suitable for screens with higher mesh count, while coarse textured non-woven fabric is suitable for screens with lower mesh count. A suitable screen can avoid problems such as fine screen clogging, uneven ink coverage, deep ink penetration in coarse screen, and blurred edges of the pattern, ensuring the clarity and integrity of the printed pattern.
Drying process control: After printing with water-based ink, it is necessary to use a suitable temperature for drying treatment. The temperature should not only meet the needs of sufficient ink drying, but also avoid deformation, aging and other damage to RPET non-woven fabric caused by high temperature. At the same time, the drying rhythm should be adjusted according to the printing speed to ensure that every printing area can be fully dried and improve the overall quality of the finished product.
